At 6:30 in the morning, I had the valley to myself.
Except, that is, for the Cook’s Meadow coyote, who kept a wary eye on me as I stood quietly assessing the reflections in the river. With the water high and moving quickly, a bumper crop of reflections kept me busy, challenged and entertained for most of the morning.
